Masks/PPE & Oxygen Supplies for Patients & Frontline Workers in the US and India
Healthcare workers, law enforcement, public transit workers - everyone - needs face masks and other PPE - and clinics in India now have an urgent need for oxygen concentrators. While the problem in the U.S. is coming under control, it is becoming more serious than ever in India. Bridge to Cures (B2C) wants to help. Our focus at this moment is oxygen generators for the clinics in India. To donate, please use the GoFundMe link on the right, which is a continuation of our initial fundraising campaign, focused 6 months ago on masks; but, new donations are now going to the India-oxygen project.
We plan to purchase and deliver to India 5 CAIRE oxygen concentrators: https://www.caireinc.com/ We need you to donate to help hospitals in India cope with COVID-19-related supply shortages The devastating affect that the second COVID-19 wave has taken on India is heartbreaking. Like all of you, we at B2C are sorry to see so many tragic stories of loss of life, and overwhelmed front line workers. The shortages of PPE and other medical supplies, including oxygen generators, continue, and communities in rural and urban India are both severely affected. We at B2C feel that as global citizens in this fight against COVID-19, it is our collective moral responsibility to take action and help. To this end, we have launched a SE Wisconsin region, US and world-wide effort to help solve some of the problems associated with PPE and medical supplies shortages. We initially began by helping an organization The Diganta Swaraj Foundation (www.digantaswarajfoundation.org) that assists rural communities with their various needs in the western state of Maharashtra in India. This organization and its team, work closely with hospitals in the region to facilitate their COVID-19 medical supply needs. B2C has partnered with them to provide them with supplies for this purpose. This effort quickly grew into helping additional hospitals in India who desperately need medical supplies and PPEs. A team of volunteers (Balaji Narayanan, Anand Natrajan, Rohit Laungani, Alamelu Shankar, Vijaya Ramalingam) and B2C have partnered to facilitate this objective of coordinating donated US medical supplies to hospitals to India. We need you to help us in meeting this objective. Please donate generously via our Go-Fund-Me page https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/frontiermask. Forward the link to your contacts and friends. The money that you will donate will be used for generating the PPEs (images below), and shipping these and other donated PPEs and medical supplies, including oxygen generators, from the US to needy hospitals in India. Together, no problem is too big to solve, and nothing will stop us from executing and finishing it. We stand together with the people of India in this fight, and have been inspired by their courage and dignity. We thank each one of you for spending your valuable time reading this message, and for supporting us. |

Froedtert Health is supporting COVID relief efforts to India by donating personal protective equipment (PPE) and partnering with local nonprofit Bridge To Cures to raise funds to buy five oxygen concentrators from Aerocare (Adapt Health). These oxygen concentrators will be directly put to use to assist patients suffering with moderate to severe COVID. Lack of access to this lifesaving equipment has led to thousands of avoidable deaths in India.
